I made this plate to re-locate my coils, sensors and LCV.

Making the plate ain’t all that bad, but when it come time to connect the hoses and wiring after mounted on the bike, that ain’t no fun!

I mounted the coils and the LCV before putting the plate on the bike.

You have to cut the harness wrapping in several places so you can pull certain wires from the other wires to make them longer, so to speak. Then you have to re-wrap the harness. Time and patience!!!

Then you have to re-do the hoses on the LCV and sensors. (The Atmospheric Pressure Sensor does NOT use a hose!!! Just the two Intake Air Pressure Sensors use a hose)

After getting it all done…it was worth the time and trouble to see how clean the front of the engine looks with the coils and LCV gone!

If you make your plate like this one...you have to connect the wire harness to the sensors before mounting them to the plate. The drawing shows them mounted without the harness connected.

Again: The Atmospheric Pressure Sensor does NOT use a hose!!! Just the two Intake Air Pressure Sensors use a hose.

The wire harness with the Black/Red & Black/Orange lead wires HAVE to go to the #1 cylinder coil...rear cylinder - long plug wires.

The wire harness with the Black/Red & Black/White lead wires go to the #2 cylinder coil...front cylinder - short plug wires.
